Arrival Information
You must contact
Kimberly in Staff Services via email (international_galveston@schlitterbahn.com)
at least one week prior to your arrival with the following
information:
First Name:
Family Name:
Airline: (Air France, KLM, United Airways, etc.)
Arrival Date:
Arrival Time:
Visa Sponsor Company: (CIEE or AAG)
If Kimberly does
not have this information at least one week prior to your
arrival, you will have to obtain you own transportation to
the island.
The closest
airports are Houston Hobby (HOU) and Houston Bush
Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Airport pick up will be
provided from either airport at no cost if your arrival
dates and times fall within the following guidelines:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 0900 and
2000.
If you arrive
Thursday, Friday, or Saturday or after hours (2001 to 0859)
you will need to arrange your own transportation to the
island. Galveston Limousine provides service from IAH and HOU
airports. Reservations are required and can be made online
at
http://galvestonlimousineservice.com. Cost is $35
- $40 one way.
Please note apartment
office hours are from 0800 to 1700 every
day. Students who arrive on their own will need
to make arrangements to stay in a hotel if they arrive
outside of these office hours.
Who do I look
for in the airport? -
Someone from
Schlitterbahn will pick you up from the airport if you have
arranged transportation in advance. Look for someone
carrying a white sign that looks like this:
