Lagoon Kiddie Park
The Lagoon Kiddie park overlooking the Comal River is a great spot for kids and their parents. There are four side-by-side slides and a giant mushroom slide. The slides are covered with a bump-softening surface and there is shaded seating immediately adjacent to the pool.

Lava Lagoon Heated Pool
The Lava Lagoon Heated Pool is at the base of an enormous volcano. The "lava heated" heated pool offers explorers their last opportunity to relax prior to beginning their journey on the Congo River Expedition. The volcano vents plumes of steam before blasting water more than 20 feet in the air.

Master Blaster Uphill Water Coaster

Master Blaster Uphill Water Coaster
Selected as the best water ride in the nation again and again, Master Blaster combines the up and down thrills of a roller coaster with the unique experience of being propelled by jets of water. Riders ascend to the top of the Blastenhoff Tower where they find two-passenger inflatable boats waiting for them. Once in position on the launch platform, they are sent down a three-story plunge, then back up three stories and into a twisting tunnel. Riders get a brief glimpse of the tower they just left before dropping once again. Master Blaster continues its course, figure-eighting around the tower, blasting uphill and down before entering the climatic pretzel-shaped downward spiral. Master Blaster is non-stop action! Master Blaster uses patented technology first developed for Schlitterbahn by our sister company, NBGS International, Inc., a worldwide leader in innovative water ride technology.

Polywog Pond Kiddie Park
The Polywog Pond is a little more adventurous than Hansel and Gretel's Great Adventure, but still designed for the younger set. Giant toad stools form the central theme of the attraction and are designed as huge play elements. Kids can explore them, cross between them on suspension bridges, and slide down them. There's even a big, friendly frog slide.

Raging River Tube Chute
The world's longest tube chute! A swirling 45-minute float from one end of the original section of the park to the other! Riders can float directly into the Congo River or the Tunnel Tube Chute. Halfway through Raging River Tube Chute you will choose to finish your ride in the Congo River Float or through the Tunnel Tube Chute. Get with your party to decide which way you are going to go.

River Tube Chute

River Tube Chute
The River Tube Chute begins at the end of the Comal Express and Tunnel Tube Chutes and ends in the Comal River. Tubers float along a beautiful, tree-lined section of the river before sweeping down through a series of rapids which end in a large pool. The River Tube Chute was the first of Schlitterbahn's tubing rides which - if placed end to end - would extend over three miles!

Schatze’s Central Park
Nestled in a shady, wooded section of Schlitterbahn, Schatze's Central Park is a perfect compliment to our six additional world-class kids' areas. Schlitterbahn's lovable dachshund pup mascot has his own area. Schatze has taken over a park complete with a root beer stand, ice cream parlor, car wash and a magical castle that all have been transformed into his own puppy playground. This area includes playful fountains, squirting fire hydrants, spraying park sprinklers, a kid-friendly car wash, pint-sized slides and a magical castle (meet Schatze, the costume character, at his Magical Meet 'n Greet Castle).

Perched atop a giant Coca-Cola glass, the twin Soda Straw body slides are a twisting plunge through semi-translucent tubes into the giant Lagoon pool. Riders then skim across the surface of the Lagoon Pool.

Squirt’n Sliden Kiddie Park

Squirt’n Sliden Kiddie Park
Located right in the middle of Surfenburg is a fantasy water playground that puts smiles on the faces of thousands of kids each summer. Squirt 'n Sliden is a shallow wading pool with plenty of things to do and explore. There's a yellow submarine and a friendly octopus. There's a pirate ship with slides and water cannons. Plus there are other fanciful slides to play on and creatures to meet. Squirt 'n Sliden is kid and family friendly. Many of the slides and contact surfaces are padded foam. The pool bottom is coated with a special non-skid surface. The entire playground is surrounded with shaded seating.
