Setting Kids on the Road to a Bright Future
Schlitterbahn Waterparks exist to provide wholesome family fun at
the hottest, coolest places in Texas. A less visible part of our
mission is to make tomorrow a little brighter for as many
children as possible. That is why we are proud to support Texas
non-profit organizations that focus on children. Over the years
we have donated hundreds of thousands of park tickets to schools
and charities for this purpose.
When
to Request Tickets -
The
online request system will be available from November 1 through
December 18, 2008 to request tickets to SPRING 2009 events and programs.
All requests must be received during this time to be considered.
Written requests can no longer be considered due to the
increasing volume.
How
to Request Tickets -
Non-profit organizations must complete a brief
online request
form. All applicants will receive an email notification
regarding the status of their request by January 30
depending on request time and tickets
will be mailed to arrive at least 30 days prior to the event.
Who
Can Request Tickets
Texas non-profit organizations that benefit children are welcome
to request a pair of day passes to one of our waterparks for
fundraising projects and programs that reward children such as
Project Graduation and reading incentive programs. This includes
Texas schools and other non-profit organizations that focus on
children. Please make sure the recipient knows these
complimentary tickets can be used anytime during our summer
season except July 1 - August 13, 2009.
With the growing number of requests we receive from throughout
Texas, we must limit our donations to organizations which
benefit children. Unfortunately, we are unable to support:
-
For-profit
organizations
-
Individuals
-
Political parties
-
Other non-profit
groups with events that do not directly benefit children,
such as building funds and festivals
-
Organizations that
discriminate due to color, nationality, gender, creed or
sexual orientation
Schlitterbahn Waterparks is proud to support these charities of
choice that help
children get started on the road to a bright future:
Communities in Schools -
Schlitterbahn Waterparks has helped the central Texas
organization raise more that $60,000 through fundraising events
including presenting sponsorship of the Rock n Roll for Kids
benefit, the major fundraiser each year for Communities In
School.

This program of the Texas General Land Office is an
all-volunteer effort to remove trash from Texas beaches and
raise awareness about the problem. Schlitterbahn Waterparks

Children's Art Contest that encourages kids to take an active
roll in protecting Texas beaches for future generations. |
