of the waterpark this summer.
With the spotlight now shining on the waterpark portion of the
one-of-a-kind Schlitterbahn Vacation Village resort, a colorful new

including the world’s largest tidal wave river, an uphill Master
Blaster™ water coaster, a hot tub with swim-up bar, four mammoth
tubing rivers and chutes, six giant water slides, an interactive

attractions, destination shopping, dining and unique lodging
facilities open in future phases.
“It is important for our guests to realize that this is just the
beginning of Schlitterbahn Vacation Village, and this is the message
we are conveying,” stated Michael Catcott, project executive for the
Schlitterbahn Vacation Village. “The thrilling waterpark that opens
in 2009 provides an adventure like Kansas City has never
experienced, and it may be difficult for guests to believe that
there is even more to come, but there is.”
In the weeks to come, Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark plans
to announce the exciting details about each attraction in this
