2010 Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark season pass now and
visit weekends through September 20, 2009 for free.
KANSAS
CITY, Kan. – It’s not too late to be among the first to make history
by diving into the thrilling new collection of water attractions at
Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark during its inaugural
season. Why not do it for free? 2010 season passes are currently on
sale at the lowest possible price and offer the opportunity to visit
the park for free every operating day of the remaining 2009 season.
A 2010 season pass gives guests unlimited access to an uphill water
coaster, three tubing slides, a whitewater rapids tube chute, two
mammoth rivers including the world’s longest tidal wave river, 13
mini slides for kids, three relaxing beaches and a giant hot tub
with a swim-up refreshment bar. The pass is valid throughout the
entire 2010 summer season, but there is still time to enjoy the park
this summer. Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark is open every
Saturday and Sunday through September 20, and those who buy a 2010
season pass now are able to visit this summer for free.
Guests may purchase their discounted 2010 season passes at the park
or online for $10 off the full summer price. General Admission
Season Passes for ages 12-54 are currently only $114.99 plus tax and
Child/Senior Season Passes for ages 3-11 or 55 and older are only
$74.99 plus tax. Children ages 2 and younger are free.
There are also late summer discounts available on All-Day Admission
tickets, like the 4 for $99 ticket special available only for
purchases made online in advance at schlitterbahn.com. Season pass
holders can bring a friend for only $10 plus tax on September 12,
13, 19 and 20, 2009. Guests who decide to buy a season pass while
visiting the park may apply the price of their all-day ticket to the
purchase of a season pass (this transaction must be completed on the
same day as their all-day visit, not after).
Schlitterbahn has the hottest one-of-a-kind attractions. The Storm
Blaster uphill water coaster combines the up and down thrills of a
roller coaster with the unique experience of being propelled upward
by jets of water. Torrent River is the world’s largest tidal wave
river where ocean-sized waves surge through a giant canyon-like
waterway. Float from one end of the park to the other without ever
leaving the water on the Raging River tube chute--we call this
Transportainment.
Guests who play at Kansas City's new world-class waterpark take
advantage of Schlitterbahn’s family friendly amenities. Parking is
always free, inner tubes and life jackets are free to use all day
and you can even bring your own picnic meals right inside the park.
Grilling, glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.
This is just the beginning. New waterpark attractions, retail,
lodging and other entertainment elements will be introduced during
future phases throughout the next few years. Watch for announcements
soon.
