What do I get for participating?

You can use your tickets to splash into Schlitterbahn any regular operating day through June 15, 2009. Plus, participants who register by April 1st will receive a free t-shirt in their triathlon packet.

How do I register?
Register online at active.com or fill out a paper entry form and mail it in. All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 or until registration reaches capacity (350 participants).

How do I determine the age group I will be racing with?
The length of your race depends on your date of birth and is determined using USAT regulations based on age as of December 31, 2009. For example, if you turn eleven any time in 2009, you will race with ages 11-14 even if you are ten years old on race day.

How are places and prizes awarded?
Individual racers will compete and be awarded as follows: Ages 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. For instance, if your age category is 8 years-old you will race the same distance as everyone 7-10, but you will place among racers 7-8. *Please note: Relay teams will still compete in the greater age range to allow flexibility in team ages.

Do I have to do it all?
No, you can just do one part of the race and get two friends to do the other two. For example, you can do the running while your brother does the biking and a friend does the swimming. This is called a relay team. If you decide to race with teammates outside your age category, you will not be eligible to place.

When is Packet Pick Up?
