Update as of March 20, 2020

At Cedar Fair, the safety and well-being of our Guests and Associates are always our top priorities.

As we continue to follow regional and national health directives related to COVID-19, we want to provide the latest update regarding our park schedule.  Currently, our Schlitterbahn Waterparks are temporarily closed in both New Braunfels and Galveston, Texas.  It is our hope to reopen those properties mid-May or as soon thereafter as possible.  We believe this decision is in the best interest of our associates, our guests, and our communities.

We will continue to work with Guests who have prepaid tickets during the time period of our park closures.  For ticket inquiries, please contact us at requests@schlitterbahn.com.

For 2020 Season Passholders, we will be adding days to the park’s operating calendar to accommodate for the days the park is temporarily closed (against original 2020 operating calendar).  Additionally, 2020 Season Passholders will enjoy added-value benefits to be announced at time of park opening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  How does the closure impact my 2020 Season Pass?
A.  Your 2020 Season Pass and Season Pass Add-Ons if applicable continue to be valid for the duration of the season it was originally purchased for. We will be adding days to the park’s operating calendar to accommodate for the days the park is temporarily closed (against original 2020 operating calendar). Additionally, 2020 Season Passholders will enjoy added-value benefits to be announced at time of park opening.

For guests participating in the Payment Plan program, your monthly payments will continue as scheduled.

Q.  May I get a refund on my park admission ticket?
A.  If you purchased a single-day admission ticket for our Spring Bonus Days that cannot be used while we are closed, we will reissue your ticket for an Any Day ticket good through September 22nd in New Braunfels or October 11th in Galveston, or we will refund your Spring Bonus Days ticket.  Unexpired single-day tickets (Any Day) may be used on any one public operating day through the 2020 Schlitterbahn operating season. The above policy also applies to specific day Blast Pass or Cabana purchases, as well as meal band and souvenir bottle purchases in conjunction with a Spring Bonus Day ticket.
