Maintenance Manager

The maintenance manager is responsible for managing the completion of building maintenance and repairs for the waterpark and the resort.


  • Perform routine maintenance duties and projects that include electrical, plumbing, HVAC and a/c repairs.
  • Responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing water pumps for pools and features as well as water filtration systems.
  • Complete all maintenance requests issued in a timely manner.
  • Organized record keeping of repairs and appliance replacement.
  • Schedule and complete Preventive Maintenance.
  • Maintain building inventory for cost effective operations and work within established budget limits.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems, as well as assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
  • Follows all company emergency procedures. Ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Report major repair needs to the General Manager.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Must be flexible in hours and days worked. Weekend and Holiday work hours may be required.
  • Must be able to use hand tools
  • Must be able to use maintenance equipment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of building maintenance to including: electrical; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry; plumbing, etc.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day
  • Must display very good organization and time management skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of hotel maintenance technician experience including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge
  • Technical training and license preferred
