What time does the afternoon discount rate begin?
The afternoon discount rate begins at 3:00 p.m. every operating day. This rate is only available on the day of admission, and is not available for pre-purchase.
If I purchase a two-day pass, do I have to use it on consecutive days?
No, you may use the second day at a later date at the park where it was purchased. You must, however, use the pass prior to the end of the summer season during which it was bought. Two-day passes are not transferable or refundable and must be used by the same person for each visit.
Do I have to pay even if I don't get into the water?
Yes, with all the great water attractions at Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi Riverpark you won't want to stay out of the water! Besides our thrilling slides and blasters, there are relaxing pools, rivers, hot tubs, and swim-up bars. If someone in your party is over 55 please inquire with admissions staff about the "senior spectator" rate.

Do you offer discounts to the military?
Schlitterbahn Waterparks supports active military members by offering military discount admission tickets at most active-duty military installations in the state of Texas, as well as several military installations in Louisiana and Oklahoma. Discounted tickets are available at ITT or ITR offices. Please note that Ft. Sam Houston, located in the greater San Antonio area, has tickets available at the Sam Houston Club.
Where can I get discounted tickets?
For the best discount, purchase your tickets in advance, online.
Can I bring a picnic to the park?
Yes you can, but you certainly don't need to. Schlitterbahn offers a wide variety of fun foods, wait service, even a full-service air-conditioned restaurant. If you do bring a picnic, please do not bring alcohol or glass containers. All ice chests and picnic supplies are checked upon entry. Guests with picnic items may use picnic tables located inside the actual waterpark area.
Visiting With Kids
Are there height requirements on the rides?
Schlitterbahn uses an attraction rating system for all rides and pools. Each attraction is labeled to inform guests about the ride and the skills required.
Can my kid ride on my lap?
No. We do not allow lap riding on any rides. However double tubes with on side designed for young children, are available for most rides so you can ride with your child.
Do you have life jackets and kid's tubes available?
We have a limited number of life jackets for our guests at no charge. They're available on a first-come first-serve basis. You may also bring your own life jacket. We do have a limited number of kid's tubes, or tubes with bottoms. Kid's tubes are complimentary and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests may not use their own recreational flotation devices in the waterpark. Personal life-jackets are always welcome!
What about toddlers?
Schlitterbahn Corpus Christi Waterpark has a great play area for our smallest active guests.

What is the best time to come to Schlitterbahn Riverpark Corpus Christi?
For the best experience, we suggest visiting on a weekday and arriving early. If you visit on a weekend, we suggest choosing Sunday. Saturday is the most popular day to visit Schlitterbahn. Weekends in May, late August and September are less popular than weekends in June, July and early August.
What about my glasses?
Glasses will come off on some rides, so secure them with a neck strap. Neck straps are available at our gift shops. Neck straps may not be permitted on all rides.
Do you have changing facilities?
Changing facilities are located in the main restroom/locker area. Please be sure to bring diapers for infants. Regular diapers are not permitted in any pool or water attraction. Swim diapers are available in the gift shop.
How do I carry money around?
Schlitterbahn also offers "Splash Cash®" that can be purchased and used as money all around the park. Splash Cash® may be purchased at ticket booths, gift shops and locker rental locations.
What should I do with my stuff?
It is best to leave valuables at home. Please don't bring them into the park or leave them exposed in your car. Lock money and keys in a locker instead of keeping them in pockets where they may fall out in the rides. Schlitterbahn is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen in the park or in the parking lots. (Lockers are available for a fee plus deposit. The deposit is refunded when the key is returned.) We recommend putting vehicle keys in a locker along with your valuables or securing them so they don't fall out of your pocket.
Tables and Seating
Where should we sit?
Anyone can find great seating at our many picnic areas throughout the park by arriving early and claiming your table for the day for free. Please be kind and courteous to your fellow guests.
Can we reserve a table?
There are a limited number of Cabanas available for rent. Please call (361) 589-4220 for more information and to make a reservation. Or reserve through our website. Table service and catering options available at selected Cabanas.
Just In Case...
Do you have a lost and found?
Any one of our Guest Services locations can assist you with lost and found items. Or you may call the park at 361.589.4220 and ask for Lost & Found.
What do we do if our party gets separated?
Make sure the kids who are old enough to be on their own know when and where to check in periodically for sunscreen and drink breaks. Schlitterbahn does not page for lost persons. Children should be instructed in advance that if they do become separated, they should notify a Schlitterbahn employee. All separated parties will be taken to the nearest customer service location. TIP: write your phone number on your child's admission wristband so we can easily contact you if your party becomes separated.
What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?
Schlitterbahn is open rain or shine. When lightning, thunder or other severe weather is in the area, attractions may be temporarily closed but the park remains open. Once the severe weather clears, guests are permitted back inside the water. Please review the weather forecast prior to entering the park. No rain checks or refunds.
Does the park accommodate guests with disabilities?
Yes, please go to guest services and inquire with our staff about assistance.
Please be sure to bring swim diapers for infants. Regular diapers are not permitted in any pool or attraction. Swim diapers are available at the gift shops.
Guests are required to properly wear clothing specifically designed for water recreation and swimming. We do not allow thongs or sheer swimwear. And we do not allow speedos or swim briefs. You can wear Tshirts and cover-ups, but be aware that we may ask guests to remove shoes and loose fitting Tshirts on our bodyslides to comply with safety standards. You can put them back on at the end of the ride.
