Retail Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the retail sales, inventory and analytical systems.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, then following up on work results. 
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Respond to customer complaints and comments.
  • Travel and attend markets and related trade shows, when necessary.
  • Assist with physical inventories.
  • Assist with entering purchase orders.
  • Maintain a pleasant working environment in order to deliver a proper and efficient service to our guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Retail Director and Corporate Director of Retail.

Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications

  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Result driven.
  • Management proficiency
  • Capable of working independently with general supervision.
  • Ability to follow and or interpret oral and written directions.
  • Must be organized and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  •  Must have 3-5 years of experience in Retail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous amusement park experience a plus
  • Must be able to travel
