Schlitterbahn Resort New Braunfels is a unique, 212-room lodging experience located at Schlitterbahn Waterpark New Braunfels. Schlitterbahn Resort is open year-round, even when the waterpark is not in operation. The Resort is located close to all the fun that the Hill Country region has to offer, including playing in the World's Best Waterpark, river tubing in the Comal River and Guadalupe River, enjoying local festivals, golf, shopping, and dining. A deposit is required at the time of booking when making a reservation. The deposit policy may vary depending on the package or rate that is reserved.
- Cancellation of a reservation must be received a minimum of 72 hours (three days) prior to check-in date to cancel without penalty.
- Reservations canceled less than 72 hours prior to check-in date forfeit the deposit, but the deposit may be applied to a new reservation.
- Check-in is at 4:00 PM.
- Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
- Matching ID and credit card information is required for the name on the reservation.
- Guests are allowed to bring their own food and drink into their resort room and into the waterpark
- Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted inside the waterpark, but are allowed in guest rooms.
- BBQ Pits and Grills - Grills are in several locations throughout the resort property and are available for our resort guests to use during their stay. Please note personal grills or BBQ pits cannot be used on park or resort grounds.
- Each unit has a maximum number of guests it can accommodate. Due to the variety of different accommodation types, this number varies per unit.
- Safety requirements requires us to enforce this maximum number for all units. The limit may not be exceeded, even if the extra person is a small child.
2-3 night minimums may apply for select dates or packages.
Pets are not allowed unless they are a service animal with the appropriate documentation.
- There are three pools available to resort guests.
- Hours and availability of resort pools vary depending on the time of year (weather permitting).
- Towels: Resort room towels are for in-room use only, and are are not permitted in pools or waterpark. Beach towels are available for purchase at the check-in gift shop.
Schlitterbahn will remain open on most rainy days; however, in the event of severe inclement weather, such as lightning, heavy rain, or high winds, Schlitterbahn attractions may need to close for the safety of our guests. In the event rides do shut down they will reopen as soon as it is safe. Since the waterpark remains open most rainy days, we do not offer rain checks or refunds.
Roll away beds are not available at Schlitterbahn Resort New Braunfels.
Free WiFi is available to resort guests. Please ask for instructions and the password at time of check-in.
Schlitterbahn Resort New Braunfels does not permit smoking inside any of the rooms. A cleaning fee will be applied to any guest who fails to adhere to this policy.
