Schlitterbahn Galveston plans to hire approximately 1,000 associates with starting rates as high as $17 per hour

GALVESTON, TX (Feb. 8, 2022) ­– Planning for the 2022 season at Schlitterbahn Galveston is underway and the waterpark has announced it will open to the public on Saturday, March 12, just ahead of spring break. In preparation for the upcoming season, the park has launched its recruitment campaign to fill approximately 1,000 positions across all departments.

“We have been hard at work this offseason getting the park ready to open this spring,” said Jessica Naderman, assistant general manager at Schlitterbahn Galveston. “Hiring has begun and there are many great jobs available. Working here is fun for obvious reasons and comes with great perks, but we also value professional growth and leadership development – all of which makes Schlitterbahn the perfect place to launch a career.”

All available positions are posted at the Schlitterbahn Jobs Site. They include:

  • Lifeguards (minimum age to apply is 15 years old)
  • Park Services (minimum age: 14)
  • Admissions (minimum age: 14)
  • Merchandise (minimum age: 14)
  • Kitchen Staff
  • Security
