Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Named “World’s Best Water Park” for Record 24th Year

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (Sept. 11, 2022) – Amusement Today awarded the iconic Texas water park a 24th consecutive Golden Ticket award on Saturday. Breaking its own record, Schlitterbahn has added yet another year to its World’s Best Water Park reign. This year’s award makes Schlitterbahn New Braunfels the longest-tenured award winner in Golden Ticket Award history.
“For our park to have won this award again for the 24th consecutive time is humbling,” said Darren Hill, vice president, and general manager of Schlitterbahn Waterparks & Resort. “This Golden Ticket represents the greatest reward for the hard work and efforts of our associates who each day strive to provide a safe, friendly, unique, and fun environment for our guests.”

Presented annually, the prestigious Golden Ticket Awards recognize excellence in the amusement park industry. The awards are calculated from an international poll conducted by Amusement Today, an Arlington, Texas-based publication that covers amusement and water park news and trends.
