Downhill Racer
Four dueling, side-by-side speed slides that plunge from the top of the Castle Entrance building down a three-story drop over giant moguls to the finish line. The Downhill Racer is really a set of four side-by-side speed slides.
Riders use a foam sled with handles and plunge head-first down a nearly 3-story tall undulating drop and then skim across the surface of the landing zone. The ride begins atop the Castle Entrance building.

- Four head-first mat slides that end in 11" slide runouts. One Rider per slide.
- Riders must lie stomach down on a mat facing forward, and firmly grasping the handles throughout the ride with elbows tucked in towards the body.
- Riders must have a minimum of three functioning extremities; two functioning arms and one functioning leg.
- Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, broken collar bone, full arm cast, braced arm cast, or full leg cast are not permitted to ride.
- Access to the attraction requires climbing several flights of stairs. Riders will have to ascend the slide tower and be capable of safely entering the slide, on their own or with the assistance of a companion.
- Please use caution when entering and exiting as the may shift. The slide entrance/exit and surrounding area may also be slippery.

- Guests with the following conditions are prohibited from riding: Recent surgery, Heart trouble/High blood pressure, Neck trouble, Back trouble, Pregnant, or Any physical conditions that may be aggravated by this ride
- Guests must be lying down on a mat, facing forward, and firmly grasping the handles throughout the ride with elbows tucked in towards the body.
- This ride uses untreated Comal River water.
