During this past off-season, several of the Schlitterbahn owned vacation homes and condos received some much-needed TLC. A little over $1 million went into renovating our lodging rentals turning them into the "vacation home" away from home our guests seek . The Hilltop Haus is just one of nine (9) Vacation Homes at The Resort at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. Join us now for a tour through this amazing transformation.
Official Description: For those who want to accommodate a large group all under one roof for a homestay, this property includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a spacious living area. This home accommodates 12 - 14 guests. Plus, under COVID-19 protocols, Schlitterbahn will provide housekeeping services on the third day of a stay if requested. Towels and toiletries can also be refreshed as needed upon request.
The Hilltop Haus is located less than a block away from the Schlitterbahn Waterpark Main West entrance on Liberty Ave. This vacation home has four (4) parking spaces with an overflow area in the waterpark lot if needed. Hilltop Haus comfortably sleeps up to 14 people within its three-bedroom, two-bathroom layout. This unique property hosts our only two-story design. Visitors will also notice the fresh coat of paint on the exterior and newly manicured landscaping.
Major Updates
Two of the biggest improvement projects at the Hilltop Haus Vacation Home include the kitchen and bathroom remodels. Upon entering the house, the renovated kitchen provides a beautiful and practical update. You'll find new appliances, cabinets, flooring, countertops, and we’ve opened up the space by removing a wall between the kitchen and the adjoining living room.
The kitchen shares an open area with the living room which is HUGE! While the structural makeover is not quite as dramatic as the kitchen, the furniture and decor helps to brighten and modernize the living room. And you may notice the wall-mounted flat screen TV (yes, that giant old TV was there just prior to this makeover).
Winding stairway - Unique Feature
Off the living room you will find a staircase that leads up to the second floor, please watch your step (as you should with all staircases!) It is difficult to do the majesty of this staircase justice. The stairs are whimsical and transport you to another world of vacation adventure.
