Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Boosts Starting Pay for Lifeguards to $15-$16 Per Hour for 2021 Season

New Braunfels, TX (May 26, 2021) – Schlitterbahn, the World’s Best Waterpark, today announced it has raised starting pay for several seasonal positions for the 2021 season. Lifeguard pay rates have increased to $15-$16 per hour, depending on certification, while Security hourly wages have risen to $14 per hour. Kitchen Staff hourly rates have also increased to $13 per hour.
The park plans to hire 500 additional workers to meet anticipated guest demand for the 2021 season, after already hiring 1,100+ front-line associates this year.
Job opportunities are still available in most park operating areas, including Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Park Services, Food and Beverage, Guest Services and more. The park is looking for a diverse range of applicants of all ages including students, retirees, and teachers, for example, who are looking for fun summer opportunities.
